Who We Are
I qualified as an Art Therapist in 1997 and have worked in many different contexts including the voluntary sector and the NHS. This includes individual and group work with a broad range of clients. My areas of practice have included generic counselling and psychotherapy, student counselling, learning disability, perinatal mental health, trauma and clinical supervision. I am an experienced group and workshop facilitator and am a lecturer in Art Psychotherapy on the MSC Art Psychotherapy training at Queen Margaret University. I am particularly interested in how the image, metaphor, and imagination combine with somatic and neurobiological processes to help cultivate the resources needed to create positive change. My own art making is essential to my personal and professional life alongside my interest in research and writing.
Please note I am not currently taking new clients.
